Combining a Mediterranean inspired exterior with the clean lines and predominantly white aesthetic of a modern home, this Atherton, California home –built by Mark Kelley Construction – presented Professional Painting with the objective of painting in such a way that no one thinks about the paint. An emphasis on negative space in this home allows a focus on both natural light and the client’s accent pieces.

But despite the paint playing a supportive role in this home, a large number of elements – including wood ceilings, large cased opening, and extensive painted cabinetry – still required a thorough treatment. One especially unique painted feature of this home was the slightly reflective white painted hardwood floors that characterized some of the bedrooms.
